Joel Bishop


Born and bred in Tauranga, Joel was literally brought up on wire manufacturing, after 15 years working across many aspects of the business he has developed a keen passion for his customers and the industry he works in.

Frank Bishop


Born and raised in Tauranga, Frank enjoys leading operational projects and new developments within our manufacturing facility.

Damien Sauni

General Manager

Damien has a strong background in supply chain, production, logistics and continuous improvement, and has previously worked for Fonterra, Paslode, NHP Electrical Engineering and Dimond.  He is originally from Auckland but now calls Tauranga home.

Andrew Thoms

Andrew Thoms

General Manager – Sales & Marketing

Raised on a sheep and cropping property in the Rangitikei, Andrew has stayed close to his rural roots with a career to date in sales within rural distribution and wire fencing manufacture in New Zealand and Australia, including 10 years with Cyclone Australia.  Andrew has a wealth of experience in Sales and business management, customer relations, business and product development and procurement. Tauranga is now home for Andrew and his family. 

Dean Ormrod

National Sales & Marketing Manager

From business development to national sales manager, Dean has worked across a range of roles in the construction, energy, fuel and oil sectors. Originally from Palmerston North, he has lived in Tauranga since 2006.


Martin Grant

Sales Account Manager (Upper North Island)

UK-born Martin launched his construction industry career straight from school and has worked across both residential and commercial builds. He immigrated to New Zealand in 2016 and is happily ensconced in north Auckland’s Rodney District. 

Andrew Arnott

Sales Account Manager (Lower South Island)


Dunedin based and covering the Otago and Southland regions, Andrew has over 30 years of Account Management and Customer Service experience. He’s worked in a variety of Sales roles dealing with customers from all walks of life including many in the rural sector. 

Wayne Hurunui

Sales Account Manager (Lower North Island)

Wayne has more than 20 years’ experience in rural retail, and he looks after Bayonet customers throughout the central and lower North Island. Growing up on a Hawke’s Bay sheep station was the start of a life-long love for farming and rural life.
